Bishop Bay Hot Springs (Hot Springs)

These non-commercial semi-developed hot springs, located at the head of the Bishop Bay south of Ursula Channel, are among the more popular hot springs in the region. The site has a total of three soaking pools: two outdoor tubs and a small indoor tub inside a wood shed. The water is odorless and tasteless. The temperature of the springs at the source is 42°C (110°F). In addition to the hot spring, this area offers a nice small dock for boats, a well maintained boardwalk trail through the beautiful forest to the springs, a covered picnic area, toilets, and a few tenting platforms for camping. The site is a very popular destination and is frequently busy with visitors.
