Burton Creek Hot Springs (Hot Springs)

Burton Creek Hot Springs, located close to the mouth of the Nass River, offer excellent soaking opportunities. There are several small and shallow sandy-bottom pools close to each other at the site. The water contains a high concentration of mineral and its temperature is at around 45°C (113°F). Reaching these springs can be quite a challenge as the short trail along the north side of the Burton Creek is very rough and dangerous at some places. The area is also home to a large population of black and grizzly bears, so caution is required.
