Capilano Suspension Bridge (Canyon)

Hanging at a dizzying height of 70 metres above the floor of the Capilano River Canyon, the Capilano Suspension Bridge is one of the oldest tourist attractions in Vancouver. The thrill of walking 137 metres on the swaying footbridge combined with the gorgeous canyon views will surely create a lasting impression. On the opposite side of the canyon, a series of boardwalks leads through a cool forest of cedars, hemlocks, and Douglas firs. The Treetop Adventure is the newest addition which features a network of platforms and bridges suspended between the tree trunks and providing a view of the forest from a height of as much as 30 metres. Visitors will also have a chance to learn about the art and culture of BC First Nations by visiting the Kia’palano Cultural Centre located onsite.
