Halfway River Hot Springs (Hot Springs)

These wilderness hot springs, located on the side of the Halfway River and surrounded by the forest, offer three soaking pools with hot mineral water. The main pool and the one next to it are wooden structures made out of salvaged wood. The third pool, next to the river, has the hottest water of all the pools. The water in this pool is too hot for comfortable soaking, but the temperature can be controlled by adding cold river water or snow and by reducing the flow of the hot water. The water temperature is up to 60°C (140°F) and has a slight sulfur smell.
