Harrison Hot Springs (Hot Springs)

There are two hot springs in the area: Potash (40°C / 120°F) and Sulphur (65°C / 150°F). Visitors can enjoy the hot mineral rich of the hot spring at the public pool located at the center of the town. The water to the public pool is pumped from one of the hot springs and cooled to a comfortable temperature of 38°C (100°F). Alternatively, guests staying at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa may also use the resort pools, which are reserved for resort guests only.

Very relaxing

The Harrison Public Hot Pool is an excellent alternative for those who want to enjoy the hot springs but cannot afford to stay at the Fairmont Hot Springs Hotel. The mineral water at the public hot pool is odorless and comes from the same source that supplies the hotel. For a very reasonable price of $8.50 (adult admission), you can enjoy a nice, relaxing soak in the large pool. After soaking, cool down by a large window with a view of Harrison Lake. Another nice feature is that this is an indoors pool, to keep the elements away from the bathers. The resort village of Harrison Hot Springs is only two hours away from Vancouver by car, so this would make for a great day trip.
