Mount Cane Ski Resort (Downhill Skiing)

Mt. Cain Ski Resort, managed by the non-profit Mt. Cain Alpine Park Society, is located on the north of Vancouver Island in Schoen Lake Regional Park. This community-owned and operated ski and snowboard recreational area offers a wonderful experience for skiers, snowboarders and wilderness enthusiasts. The resort features 18 downhill runs, two T-Bar lifts and one Handle Tow for beginners. While the majority of the lower runs are groomed, most of the upper runs remain untouched for pure powder enjoyment. Furthermore, Mt Cane Resort offers great backcountry skiing and snowshoeing opportunities, welcoming friendly environment, and practically no lift line-ups.
