Phoenix Mountain (Downhill Skiing)


Phoenix Mountain Ski area, located 27 km Northwest of Grand Forks in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, is a community based ski destination managed and operated by the non-profit Phoenix Mountain Alpine Ski Society. The mountain has a good selection of downhill runs ranging from beginner to advanced on 61 hectares (150 acres) of skiable terrain, and 244 meters (800 ft) of vertical rise. The area also offers a wide assortment of backcountry trails popular with cross country skiers.

The facilities and services at the mountain include a day lodge with cafeteria, a ski and snowboard school, and a ski rental shop.
