Apple Point Recreation Site

 

This recreation site is located on Brewster Lake on Central Vancouver Island. The site is popular with paddlers exploring the Sayward Forest Canoe Route. Fishing for cutthroat and rainbow trout can be enjoyed on Brewster Lake. The campsites are located in an open area with views of Brewster Lake and are suitable for RVs.

Location

Access By: Road (RV accessible)

From Campbell River, head north on Hwy.19. Turn left on to Menzies Mainline (gravel road), roughly 14.5 km or 15 minutes out of town. Drive for another 16.8 km (25 minutes) to the first entrance of the site. Watch for logging traffic on the mainline.
