Bridge Lake Provincial Park

This small provincial park is located on Highway 24, nicknamed BC’s “fishing highway”, in the beautiful Interlakes area. The numerous lakes in this region provide abundant fishing opportunities, and consequently, this park is very popular with anglers. Bridge Lake is a fairly big lake known for its population of large lake trout, rainbow trout, kokanee, and burbot. Swimming in Bridge Lake is possible from a small beach; canoeing, kayaking, and waterskiing can also be enjoyed on the lake. In the winter, the Bridge Lake area is popular for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The campground at Bridge Lake Provincial Park sits on a little peninsula jutting out into Bridge Lake and offers 16 vehicle-accessible and 3 walk-in campsites. The campground is an excellent base camp to explore the recreation opportunities in the surrounding area, including fishing and paddling on dozens of big and small lakes, cycling, and horseback riding.
