Carpenter Lake Boat Launch Recreation Site


This small site on the southeast shore of the man-made Carpenter Lake is popular with boaters and picnickers. There is a a boat launch providing access to the massive 55-km long reservoir. Fishing is possible for kokanee, rainbow trout, and Dolly Varden char. This site is accessible by RVs.

Leave Highway 99 at Lillooet. Take the bridge across Fraser River and drive on the gravel Bridge River Road for approximately 45 km; turn left to Mission Mountain Road and drive for approx. 1.5 km to the site.
