Cat Lake Recreation Site

 

This popular site has 36 walk-in tenting-only campsites located in a heavily forested area around the tiny Cat Lake. The campsites are within a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. Fishing is possible here since Cat Lake is stocked with rainbow trout; no powerboats are allowed on the lake. This site provides access to a network of hiking / biking trails. Firewood for sale. Site operator on site over night.

Access By: Road (2-Wheel-Drive)

Drive North from Squamish on HWY 99 for approximately 13km. Watch for the sign on the highway directing you to turn off. Turn right onto the Cheekye Forest Service Road. Travel approx. 2.5km, Cat Lake parking lot is on the right hand side.
