Crooked River Provincial Park

 

This family-friendly park is situated amidst gently rolling hills 70 km north of Prince George and encompasses 3 small lakes: Square, Hart, and Bear. The campground, with 90 campsites, is situated on Bear Lake, which features 2 excellent sandy beaches and is popular for swimming, paddling, and windsurfing. Fishing is good in Square and Hart Lakes, as both lakes are stocked annually with rainbow trout. Crooked River also offers canoeing and kayaking opportunities as well as fishing for rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, and whitefish. There is a natural cold spring in this park that runs year round. There are over 9 km of easy hiking trails at this park that transform into cross-country skiing trails during the winter.

Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $15.00 per party / night.BC Senior Rate (Labour Day to June 14 only): $7.50 per senior couple/night.
