A tidy riverside campground

Submitted by yas on September 19, 2011

This is a really small campground off Old Hedley Road, in essence just a big pullout from the road. The sites are all riverside and semi-shaded. When we visited in August 2011, the river was reduced to not much more than a trickle, and kayaking and swimming were certainly not possible. Fishing might still be good here, but other than that there is not much to do. Also, Highway 3 is just on the other bank of the river and the noise is quite audible. Surprisingly, I did not see any trash receptacles or toilets, but the campground was clean nonetheless.
