Jimsmith Lake Provincial Park

 

A pleasant and relaxing camping experience can be enjoyed at Jimsmith Lake Provincial Park, while still staying in a relative proximity to a major urban centre. The park is located just 5 km southwest of Cranbrook on Highway 3 / 95. Jimsmith Lake is the focus of recreational activities at this small park. Canoeing and kayaking can be enjoyed on the lake, as well as fishing for rainbow trout and largemouth bass. Powerboats are prohibited on the lake. The day-use area has a pleasant sandy beach, excellent for swimmers and sunbathers. During the winter, this park is used for ice skating and tobogganing.

Fees

Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $15.00 per party / night.

BC Senior Rate (Labour Day to June 14 only): $7.50 per senior couple/night.

Operation Dates

Campground opening and closing dates: June 1 – October 11 (Gate is closed in the off-season).

Campground dates with full fees and services: June 1 – September 7.
