Kane Lake Recreation Site


This popular recreation site is located off Highway 97C southeast of Merritt. The lakes in the area offer good fishing for rainbow trout, and are popular with anglers. The site is adjacent to the Kane Valley network of trails. These trails are used for hiking and mountain biking in the summer, and for snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter. The site is accessible by RVs.

Access By: Road (RV accessible)

Located about 20 minutes drive south of Merritt. From Merritt, drive 17.5 kilometres south along Highway 5A / 97C on your way to Kelowna. Turn right onto the Kane Valley Road and drive for 9 km until you see the sign. Turn a sharp left and you are at the small site.
