Lac La Hache Provincial Park

 

Located just off Highway 97, 40 km northwest of 100 Mile House, Lac La Hache Provincial Park offers a convenient overnight camping stop for tired travellers. However, this park is well worth a longer visit, as there are a variety of recreation opportunities available here. Lac La Hache Lake is a real magnet for those who love water-based sports and is very popular for boating, canoeing, kayaking, and waterskiing. Swimming and sunbathing can be enjoyed from a pleasant sandy beach at the day-use area. Lac La Hache has excellent fishing for lake trout, rainbow trout, kokanee, and burbot. The 2-km long Wagon Road Interpretive Trail offers an insight into the Cariboo Gold Rush history. The campground, with 83 spacious campsites well shaded by mature Douglas firs, is a welcome respite from the hot Cariboo sun.

Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $15.00 per party / night.

BC Senior Rate (Labour Day to June 14 only): $7.50 per senior couple/night.

Operation Dates

Campground opening and closing dates: May 15 – September 30 (gate is closed during off-season but access to boat launch is open until October 11).

Campground dates with full fees and services: May 15 – September 30.

Campground reservable dates: May 18 – September 4.
