Lois Lake Recreation Site

This site is located on the Lois Lake reservoir, at the start of the multi-day Powell Forest Canoe Route. The campground is easily reachable from Highway 101 and is suitable for small RV. In addition, there are 4 tenters-only campsites. Besides paddling, a variety of other recreational pursuits are possible here. The Sunshine Coast Hiking Trail is adjacent to the campsite and leads to sections of old growth forest and panoramic views. Fishing for cutthroat trout is possible in Lois Lake. Boaters should be cautious since the lake is full of submerged stumps and logs.
