The majestic snow-capped peak of Mount Robson dominates the scenery at the park’s western entrance. At 3,954 meters, this is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. The park offers everything, from developed vehicle accessible campgrounds to remote wilderness campsites only reachable via many kilometres of hiking trails. Recreation opportunities are boundless at this park. There are over 200 km of hiking trails, ranging from easy interpretive walks to long treks leading to alpine meadows and glacial lakes. Horseback riding and cycling are allowed on some trails. Canoeing, fishing, and river rafting can also be enjoyed of the various bodies of water in this park. There are three vehicle-accessible campgrounds at this park: Robson Meadows, Robson River, and Lucerne.

Robson River campground offers 19 spacious campsites on the banks of Robson River, available on a first-come, first-served basis. It is located within an easy walking distance to the Mount Robson Park's Visitor Centre, the famous Berg Lake Trail, restaurant, store and commercial services booking office.
