Moyie Lake Provincial Park

 

Located just 20 km southwest of Cranbrook, this family-friendly park protects riparian habitat at the northern tip of Moyie Lake. This gorgeous, azure-blue lake is conducive to all kinds of water-based activities and is the main attraction of the park. Visitors and campers can enjoy sunbathing and swimming from 1300 metres of sandy beach. Boating, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, waterskiing, and sailing are all very popular on the lake. Moyie Lake is stocked with kokanee and rainbow trout and is a favourite destination for many anglers. In the winter months, ice fishing is possible on the lake. The park has 2 easy interpretive trails that offer a chance to see local wildlife, including beaver, muskrat, waterfowl, and whitetail deer, and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Fees

Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $24.00 per party / night.BC Senior Rate (Labour Day to June 14 only): $12.00 per senior couple/night.   

Operation Dates

Campground opening and closing dates: April 16 – October 31 (campground gate is closed during off-season; main gate to boat launch is open).

Campground dates with full fees and services: May 1 – September 30.

Campground reservable dates: May 15 – September 6.
