Beautiful lake, private campsites

This is a really well-maintained, quiet park. I have not visited it on weekends, where I'm sure those with ATVs descend upon the area (there was a bit during the week) but if you're lucky enough to get one of the really private sites (which there are quite a few) then you're mostly sheltered from the noise. Great water access, big sites, but no picnic tables, sadly. We never did find firewood in the park but it was neat as a pin and the operator even left us a bear-aware note for leaving our camping tote with dishes and such (clean) out, which was a good reminder that even clean camping cookware is an attractant. The outhouses were so clean it was amazing! I'd definitely come back, it was one of the best-maintained BC parks I've stayed in. Too bad about the lack of picnic tables though!

Note that the sites are kind of rustic - it's almost like it was an area that people made into an unofficial campground along the lake that was turned into a park. Some of the sites are rough to drive into and probably not easy with an RV. All are pretty much on the lake. Great park for tenting or a small camper.
