Toquart Bay Recreation Site

This large well-maintained recreation site is located on the shore of Barkley Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The site is popular with sea kayakers setting out to explore the Broken Island Group, an archipelago of more than 100 small islands in the middle of Barkley Sound. The site offers a concrete boat launch, and boating and fishing are also popular here. Swimming in the sheltered waters of Barkley Sound can be enjoyed from a lovely sandy beach. There are 15 oceanfront campsites available to tenters as well as other camping areas suitable for RVs. Campsite reservations are accepted.
