Other Information

Cabins West invites you to experience ‘Life on the Edge’ in true west coast style. Conveniently located, Cabins West is close to all amenities and wildlife adventures and both Long Beach and the Broken Group Islands in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Also within walking distance are Ucluelet beaches and the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail and historic Amphitrite Lighthouse.

Quality makes these newly built custom cabins a vacation accommodation of choice. Choose from four wilderness-inspired cabin suites with large cedar logs anchoring the centre of each cabin and vaulted ceilings soaring over 20 feet high in the loft suites. Decorated in beautiful knotty pine and warm earthy paint hues that reflect the surrounding temperate rainforest, each suite is designed with your relaxation and comfort in mind.

In our Loft suites unwind in the oversized Jacuzzi tubs, featuring brass portholes and overhead skylights. With an eagle's eye view of the entrance to Ucluelet harbour and a cozy fireplace, the loft sitting area is a great place to unwind or curl up with a favourite book.

Each suite opens to a covered deck overlooking the north end of Spring Cove and coastal mountains. Nature enthusiasts will thrill at the site of bald eagles often seen soaring overhead or perched on nearby treetops. As well, the small Columbian Black-Tailed deer call this peninsula setting home and are frequently seen in the vicinity of the cabins.

In keeping with the wilderness surroundings, carvings by Ucluelet’s internationally known wildlife artist, Terry McKinnon, adorn the cabin’s exterior and grounds.

Modern conveniences include quality electric fireplaces, large plasma TV’s and complimentary wireless Internet access. As well, meal preparation is made easy with contemporary fully equipped kitchens and private barbeques

Cabin accommodation on Vancouver Island’s wild-west coast doesn’t get better than this. Whether your ideal Ucluelet vacation includes bear or whale excursions, kayaking, fishing, surfing the sandy beaches between Ucluelet and Tofino, or winter storm-watching; our Ucluelet accommodation is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day.

We look forward to sharing the natural beauty of the west coast of Vancouver Island with you.
