Echo Lake Fishing Resort

Echo Lake Fishing Resort is situated on the north shore of the charming emerald-green Echo Lake just a short distance away from the town of Lumby near Vernon BC. The 4km long and 1 km wide Echo Lake is surrounded by forested mountains that reflect sound creating an echo, thus giving the place its name. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for trophy rainbow trout, kokanee and lake trout. During summer months the water temperature in the lake becomes exceptionally warm making it a prime destination for swimming and a relaxing family vacation.

The resort has seven lakeside cabins of various sizes each with its own wharf and 35 camping spots at three campgrounds. Guests with children will enjoy a playground and a small sandy beach. There is also a swimming platform by the lakeside cabins, and plenty of space for a game of volleyball. A convenience store at the Echo Lake offers basic groceries and fishing gear and licenses. Fishing boat rentals are available at the resort as well as canoes, kayaks, row and pedal boats. Guests are welcome to bring their own boats.
